Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Ever since I was a child, my favorite thing to eat was chocolate chip cookie dough.
Despite my mother's warnings of salmonella, I still make it every once in a while just to eat it off the spoon. Soft and fluffy from the beaten butter and egg, the grains of two types of sugar melt on my tongue just in time to recognize the sharp stab of salt and the bitter crack of dark chocolate. It is a guilty pleasure by which I am never disappointed, except by the stomach ache that tells me I've had too much. Seriously, what's too much?
What's your guilty pleasure?
