What It Takes
In the beginning, when this calling was placed on me like the mantle Elijah placed onto Elisha, I knew the likelihood of my success was slim.
I don't have the education.
This wasn't my childhood dream or hobby.
The marketplace is saturated with literary geniuses from all over the world. Making a dent would be akin to winning the Lottery.
Against those reasonable, and impossible odds, I haven't quit.
Because where they are is not where I'm supposed to be.
Not right now anyway.
I'll continue trusting where the Lord leads, even if that place isn't anywhere close to my idea of success.
