Part of My World
Let me share with you the chasm of my mind,
Where mermaids swim and take all of my time.
Let me tell you why the light is so pink,
It's because the sun is made from pink diamonds, I think.
Let me strap upon you wings of feathers,
Or paper, or leaves, let the earth be your tether.
We'll philosophize with dragons. Dance with tornadoes.
We'll ask the fairies where all the time goes.
Then you might see, then you might know,
How easy it is to get swallowed up by this world's glow.
