It's easy to be caught up in myself, what I'm doing, what needs to be done, and lose sight of everything else. It's difficult to see the forest for the trees because they're tall, magnificent, and unruly all on their own... So, I set pace with Jesus. He's my strength when I cannot walk (Psalm 28:8), and He's my hope when all is lost (Psalm 71:5). He's my love when I have none left (1 John 4:19), and He's my grace when forgiveness is an incapability (Ephesians 1:7).
Focusing on the one true God means I don't have to have all figured out. I don't have to bash my head against the brick wall because it's not working. I don't have to fear the unknown. All because I know Jesus. Not only does He have the answers (John 1:1-18), He promised me I don't have to do it alone, and He will be with me (Genesis 28:15) until the very end (Matthew 28:20).
